Apple Watch not paired with new phone and I can’t remember my passcode on watch

I no longer have the phone that use to be paired with my Apple Watch and I have a passcode on that watch and can’t remember what it is as I have not used in a while. How can I take off the passcode or do a factory reset so I can’t pair the watch with my new phone.
