Apple Music Embed Song doesn't work on Safari

I'm embedding a song on my web page, however it it doesn't seem to work in safari

I see the widget load, but when i click on it to play it i get an "Unknown Error" message.

I'm using the embed share option on the album web page in apple music to generate the embed code.

To generate this code:

It works fine in chrome and Firefox, just not in Safari. Does anyone know if Apple Music isn't supported by Safari for some reason? or does any one have any other ideas for what I might be doing wrong?
