How to I restore my contacts to my iPhone from my iCloud backup file
When I type www.icloud.com (regardless of browser) I get a screen that gives me three “options” 1) Setup iCloud on this device 2) go to FindMyPhone 3) open Find my friends.
I KNOW I have setup ICloud on this phone and have even confirmed that my phone is doing a nightly backup to iCloud. Regardless of the route I take thru various apps & support links & instructions.... I always end up back at that one screen
On the iPhone, you get to iCloud via Settings, not a browser. In Settings, the top part should be your iCloud access area, where you are logged into your Apple ID. Tap on it, and you should see a line for iCloud. If you were using iCloud for your Contacts, they are not in your backup, they are in iCloud. You go there, and turn on the switch for Contacts.
If you log into your iCloud account on your phone, you can allow the phone to connect with your contacts. Everything should appear as it does in iCloud.
