I have a Macbook Air. I was told to install Gatekeeper. I can't find it in the App Store. How do I find and install it? I need to do an immediate scan for malware on my new computer.

Gatekeeper verifies Mac applications before they're run for the first time. It doesn't scan the computer for malware; for that, use the tool I linked to.

Thanks, Neil. If I don't need to download it, why did you send link for download? Also, if it's already installed on my MacOS Mojave 10.14.5, how do I run it to check for malware?
