iCloud
I installed the iCloud app on my HP laptop but can’t figure out how to get it to automatically download my files. It automatically downloads my pictures but not my files. Appreciate any help.

Have you turned on the iCloud Drive option? See "Setup iCloud for Windows" section of Set up and use iCloud for Windows - Apple Support
The "See your files with iCloud Drive" section of that link also has some information that may help.
