Apple Music

So I had a student Apple Music account ($5/month) on my mother's Apple ID. I canceled the subscription in hopes of transferring my Apple Music account over to my Apple ID. Even though I canceled my subscription it still says I can't use the school email provided to get the subscription. All I am trying to do is get Apple Music on to MY Apple ID instead of my mothers.

Canceled subscriptions expire at the end of the current billing period (after the trial period). Your mother may ask the iTunes Store staff to cancel it sooner to facilitate the transition, if that helps (no refunds, though). iTunes Store - Contact Us - Official Apple Support
