I made the mistake of once agreeing to open an address in Waze. Now, Waze takes over any time I try to navigate, and I can’t find the setting to reset Maps as the default app.

I see that you're wanting to use Apple Maps when opening an address, but currently it's opening in Waze. I'll be happy to help out.
You may not have the search engine selected as Bing in Safari. Go to Settings > Safari > Search Engine, and toggle the search engine to Bing for search result links to open with Maps. You can also use the Maps app itself to type in an address: Use Maps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

i understand how this changes my default search engine to Bing, but I don’t see how it helps my default mapping app change from Waze back to Maps. Particularly, when I select an address on a calendar entry, I want to see the location in Maps.
Try Settings, Maps, Siri and Search.
Toggle off Find Locations in other apps.
I cant test it as I don’t have Waze,
How do I set Maps as the default mapping app (instead of Waze) when I SElect an address?
