Unable to search & find emails in Mail software

I cant seem to seaarch for emails in Mac Mail. Everytime I try it sayd zero mails for that person or subject, it also includes all my Smart Mailboxes. Any advice please as its driving me insane & stopping me from working. thanks in advance

Also try Rebuilding the Mailboxes. Select an account in the mailbox list and use the Rebuild command in the Mailbox menu.
