One or two Apple ID on two iPhones and one Mac?

Hi! I have one iPhone and Mac (same Apple ID). I will get another iPhone (business phone) and I'm wondering if I should create another Apple ID or use the existing one. I'm afraid that using one Apple ID will result in duplication of calls, messages and mix of everything. What is your recommendation?

You can use the 2 phones and the Mac on the same Apple ID.

If you use a new ID on the work phone and decide to change it to your existing ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. If you use your existing Apple ID that contains your personal data on the work phone, your work data and your personal data will be mixed. If you don't want that, create a new work ID to use on the new phone. That will keep your data separate. On your computer, if desired, you can create a work user account where you can sign into iCloud, iTunes and so forth to keep your data separate on the computer.

You can try setting up Family Sharing between the 2 IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
