Open CL 1.2

How do I turn on Open CL 1.2 on my late 2013 MacBook Pro running Mojave? The new version of Corel Painter 2020 needs this to optimize. Says I have it, but it's not turned on. Thanks for your help!

Hey there!! I understand that you are trying to enable Open CS 1.2 on your Mac!

Open CL is actually something that is built into macOS and can be enabled through specific apps that can take advantage of it!

https://developer.apple.com/opencl/

In your case if Corel Painter 2020 is requesting this to be enabled you should have an option within that specific Application's preference window to do so. With Corel Painter 2020 open, try to click on Corel Painter 2020 from the menu bar, and open preferences to see if you have this option on any of the panes that appear. If not, you may need to refer to the developer of this software directly for additional instructions.
