Missing screenshot album

I have no album in photos called screenshots - it is supposed to be set up by apple software is here a way I can recover/get this?

Which system version is installed on your iPhone? In iOS 12 you will find the Screenshots album in the "Media Types" section of the "Albums" tab. Tap "Albums", then swipe up to get to the bottom of "Albums" and look at the Media Types section. The Screenshots album will only be shown, if you have a screenshot in your Photos Library. Any file in the format "PNG" should appear in this album.
