In a GPS version , why to install Watch Apps (in the Watch) if they are mirrored from the iPhone Watch Apps ?

The watchOS version of the app often has features that are useful. For example, the Spotify app functions as a remote for Spotify on the phone. I have podcast apps that allow me to download podcasts to the watch for offline use. I have a workout app, Aaptiv that also lets me download audio workouts.

What is mirrored is the notifications, not the features.
