Apple Watch & Emergency Bypass

I'm experiencing the same issue discussed here:

I receive emergency alerts by text message. Emergency bypass is enabled for the specific contact from which these messages are delivered yet since getting the apple watch the notifications are simply vibrating. Mirror my iphone is enabled.


Please help!!

Check your watch has not been accidentally set to Silent mode. Swipe up to open Control Center and look for the bell button, ot should be black not red.


Reboot (forced reset) the watch. Press ans hols both the Digital Crown and the side button (together, about 10 seconds) until the Apple logo appears, then release and let the watch restart.


Check your settings against Apple’s guidance in Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
