Find my iPhone needs to be off for repair
How can I turn off "Find my iPhone" if my phone is dead and "Find my iPhone" must be turned off for it to be repaired?? iCloud no help; I don't want to remove my whole device.

No, I saw that option there. I believe the phone just needs a new battery. I wanted to turn off the particular feature, but not remove it entirely from my account, which is what I interpreted it to say (it described if the phone were to be sold, etc.., that it could be removed from the account, and I don't want that.) Did I misinterpret that option? Thanks.
