Volume level on iPhone 7+

Dropped my phone into the sink while faucet was running. Retrieved it immediately. Everything seemed fine, however, the volume is so low that the only way to hear VM or calls is to use the speaker. Opened settings to check the sound level and it is set to high. Open to any suggestions!
