Wifi connection issues

I have recently updated my iPad to version 12.3.1 and have been facing fluctuations on a regular basis. The wifi connection seems to be working fine in my other devices and the problem is just with the iPad. Is this a technical glitch of the software version 12.3.1? The problem started off after the software update.

iPad, iOS 12

Did you reboot your iPad after the iOS update? I find it's helpful to reboot after any update. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to shut down) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go.

If that doesn't help, other suggestions include:

Turning the router off, then back on

Resetting Network Settings (make sure you know your Wifi passwords as you'll need to enter them again)
