Lightning Adaptor / Aux Input

Hello all,

For the last two years I have used my Apple iPhone 7 Plus to play music iin my car using and aux to aux cable with a lightning to aux adaptor.

Since upgrading to an iPhone XR just over a week ago, this method has stopped working. I sought advice in my local Carphone Warehouse who were as puzzled as me and said they did not know of any reason why this should happen.

I have tried using different devices, different aux cables and I even bought a new (genuine) aux to lightning adaptor. Still nothing. When I play my music it just continues to come from the phone speaker and not via my car stereo aux input.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am lost without Spotify in my car!

Thanks

Gemma

It could be the iPhone itself. You should take it to an Apple Store.
