My Macbook air is broken in half screen detached from the keep board is it repairable or should i buy a new one

It might be possible to have it repaired, but you will have to weigh the repair/parts cost vs. the cost of a new one.
Regardless, I suggest that you make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provide and take your phone in, OR contact Apple Support directly. They should be able to provide you with a free estimate for any repair costs.
