Damaged MacBook

Do I have to buy a completely new laptop if my MacBook doesn’t turn on. It has a damaged screen and it is not under warranty. Before the screen went completely black there were multiple colored lines going through the bottom and the right of the screen. What should I do?

Please post what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /TouchBar is this
