The Now Playing app doesn't appear when I'm watching Netflix on my iPhone. The app works with Hulu and other apps, but just not Netflix. Anyone else with this issue? And yes, I've unpaired/paired and reset my watch and phone several times. : )

Hi, I had this issue and just talked to Apple support. In settings if you go to Netflix and allow notifications it will once again show in the “now playing” menu.
It works again!!! Netflix just did an update and watch worked right away. So so the update.
Same here! The "now playing" still works the same with the music app, but not Netflix. The same is true for my iPhone. When I pull the controls menu up on the phone, it just says "music" above the play button. It used to show the title of the ep I was watching and say Netflix.
I think it's just started happening since the last round of updates. Maybe it's just a glitch they'll hopefully fix?
I experienced the exact same thing today. I used to be able to have the now playing app appear for Netflix, but now that’s gone for whatever reason. Did the same trouble shooting steps you did and still no go.

Same! I’ve reached out to Apple support and they just told me all the same “fix” solutions to repair. Done them all which does nothing. It’s got to be something Netflix did since all other apps work fine. It’s really annoying and hope it gets figured out soon.
How to fix this problem?? It’s very annoying that now play doesn’t work with Netflix. It’s watch update false or Netflix want to make our life’s worse?
Exact same issue. Unpair -> re-pair, delete ->reinstall app, nothing works. Must be a glitch
I didn’t change any of the settings, but it’s randomly started working again. Maybe Netflix did an update?
