copy text format

hello,

the post Is about copy format of text=the absent of paint brush.

I don't understand why there isn't a paint brush in pages. so frustrated with the pages. takes ages to copy style each time I need something. instead of one click I need to do so many just to enter each time the advanced options ( paint brush is basic. its not advanced), or to same a color I want or to choose or define a style to a pargraph. its not efficiant and its just to frustrating and time wasting.

for one that is using the pages all day long paint brush is essential.

thanks ,

I don't understand why people do not look through the menus of their Apps or consult the Help menu.

Menu > Format > Copy/Paste Style (cmd opt c/cmd opt v)

May I also suggest you learn what Styles* are and how to apply both Paragraph Styles and Character Styles which is a much better way of working than Copy/Pasting styles which are not retrospectively editable.

* Styles are created and applied under the Sidebar > Format > Text > Style

There are also Styles for Objects. The importance of using named Styles rather than just applying styling directly to words/paragraphs is if you need to change the Style you change the definition and it applies to anything that carries the Style, you don't have to apply them all over again.
