Lost photos and videos when I used iCloud to transfer my information from my iPhone old iPhone to my new iPhone Cs

I have lost all my my ability to speak so calling is not an option for me. I bought a iPhone XS yesterday and used iCloud to transfer my information from my old iPhone 8 to my new iPhone, I have lost all my photos there on on my new phone? How do I get them back?

help!!!
