iPhone X screen replacement program

My iPhone x is having touch problems and so i wanted to get it repaired under the apple's screen replacement program for iPhone x. But, i bought this phone in the US and now i want to avail the free screen replacement program in india. Is this possible? Can i get my screen replaced under the program in a country other than the one i purchased the phone from? If anyone else has encountered the same situation or has got his screen replaced through the program and has any idea, kindly help, thanks!!
