Hi melboyhen,


Depending upon what printer you have, you may need to go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Click on Scan and then click on Open Scanner...



If the printer/scanner is offline, look for the network name in System Preferences > Network.

Put the printed of the document face down on the glass plate of the scanner. Press the scan button.


Or, if the scanner has an automatic feed tray, check the 'page' icon on the tray to see the required orientation of the document (dog-eared corner represents the top right corner of the document as you view it, stripes represent the text on the 'front' of the paper—if they are on the body of the page, insert face up, if they show only on the folded down dog ear, insert face down. Press the start button.
