Getting 2 differently written amber alerts for the same missing child?

I am getting 2 differently written amber alert messages but for the same missing child. I’ve had this issue since the gov started mandating the cellphone alerts. Is this an issue with my iPhone, the alert ready system or the way my cell provider distributes the alerts?

iPhone SE, iOS 12

My question is exactly how stated in the OP. Why am I getting 2 different alerts for the same child. Looking at the pictures I provided, the difference from the first to the second is that one is English only and the 2nd is bilingual (and yes they did add in the children’s ages, but that’s the first time I’ve seen them change any part of that info. It is usually the same exact message, just an added French part). Otherwise it’s the same info. All I was looking to basically do is narrow down how these messages are getting delivered and send the proper company the issue. If this is not caused by Apple, then great, thank you, I can mark them off the list. I was hoping for info from someone in Canada that understands our particular alert system structure, so that I can better understand the alert delivery methods and can move on to pinpointing the issue as this happens at every alert. But this an Apple site so it’s fine. Just thought I’d take a chance that maybe there would be someone with more extensive knowledge.

Here’s another pic from an alert back in Feb. It’s kind of a bad example as I only did a screen cap of my pull down menu, but the top message was English only; the one below it was bilingual (English listed first, then below the same message in French which is too far down to show up in the pic).

Because the system sent them and they are different.

It is not a fault of your phone or iOS or Apple. These are the topics discussed here.

I am in Ontario as well and got both the alerts.

And inconvenient as they may be, both arriving in the very early morning, that's when the police felt it necessary to alert the public.

See >>> https://www.alertready.ca for details about alerts in Canada.
