iPhone storage

How does this make any sense? I pay $0.99 a month for more iCloud storage and I’m still getting an “iPhone Storage Full” notification in my settings? Can someone shed some light on this for me?

You are paying for 50GB of storage but you can still be exceeding that amount. Check in Settings>Your Name>iCloud. You will see your storage at the top of the screen. If you tap Manage Storage more information is revealed.
