ipod touch 7th generation

I am so sad...

I decided to upgrade from iPod Touch 4 to 7 after 8 years of great service from the old iPod

My new ipod 7th Generation stopped working while listening to it.

I cannot reboot it using the home and on off button regardless of whether it attached to computer or power or not. (I have held these buttons down for over 1 minute)

It had a full charge at the time of it stopping, it had been charged from my computer.

Please assist.

To reboot the iPod Touch you need to hold down the power button until the Slide to Power Off option appears and then use that. Once the screen has turned fully off, you hold down the Power button until the iPod begins its start-up process (during which time it will display the Apple icon).

If that doesn't work, as it must still be under warranty (7th gen is less than a year old), go to an Apple Store or where-ever you purchased it from.
