Audio files won't play when I exit the app

I have audio in my files app and when I play them and leave the app the audio doesn’t continue to play. How do I fix this issue?

Audio not working on 2 folders I have two folders, one is called “Games” and another called “Retro Games” and for some reason, all the apps on said folders have zero audio, it’s like I’m on mute. But every other app works just fine. Ive tried so many gosh darn options in the settings apps but nothing has changed, is there anyone who knows how to fix this (And yes, I did try to put the apps out of the folder, but that doesn’t work, what was I expecting.)

Can't drag new songs to Music If I click on an MP3 file or drag it to Music, I can't listen to that song. When I double click to open, music indeed opens but it does not open the file. If I drag the file to the tab songs, the green plus sign appears but when drop the file on it nothing happens. If I choose to open the file with VLC it opens and plays normally. What can I do to add new songs to Music? Thanks

Do you have a laptop or desktop computer with iTunes? The iphone and ipod are designed to play audio in the Music app that has been stored in and sync’d from the computer. That will play persistently. Opening them in Files app will not be persistent.
