a vertical blue just appeared on my ipad screen it wont go away even after restarting

I have an iPad Pro from 2018. I’ve been using it since last December. A greenish blue vertical line just appeared on my screen and it doesn’t go away. Is there a way to remove it myself or do I have to take it to a store??

iPad Pro, iOS 12

If it’s out of warranty then you can get an idea here

iPad Repair - Official Apple Support

It would probably be an out of warranty replacement.

But if it is less than a year old that issue may be covered under the manufacturer’s one year warranty and the replacement may be free.
