Apple Music payment method

The card I have linked to my family Apple Music account has expired so I need to add a new one. However, when I go onto payment methods it won’t let me add a new payment method because the old one is invalid (the card expired so we have a new card and don’t have access to the old security code) but it won’t let me remove that one because I have to have at least one payment method on file as family organiser- absolutely ridiculous. How can I get around this?!

Are you able to not remove the old one, just leave it for now and add the new one a second method? You can edit the order in which they are used first. Then remove the expired one afterwards.
