Add and remove payment method to Apple Music and iCloud?

Current payment card expired belonging to Organizer of family sharing. I have tried for weeks to remove organizer and add new payment method. How?

Apple Music payment method The card I have linked to my family Apple Music account has expired so I need to add a new one. However, when I go onto payment methods it won’t let me add a new payment method because the old one is invalid (the card expired so we have a new card and don’t have access to the old security code) but it won’t let me remove that one because I have to have at least one payment method on file as family organiser- absolutely ridiculous. How can I get around this?!

update payment method if you are not the organizer My husband and I are separating. He has a credit card listed for family sharing and as a result I am unable to edit my payments to remove it and to enter my own credit card number. I don't have myself as being a part of this family sharing, yet I am stuck from doing anything regarding this. I don't want to loose my Icloud account.
