update payment method if you are not the organizer

My husband and I are separating. He has a credit card listed for family sharing and as a result I am unable to edit my payments to remove it and to enter my own credit card number. I don't have myself as being a part of this family sharing, yet I am stuck from doing anything regarding this. I don't want to loose my Icloud account.
