how do i change the name of my device? i just bought a new iPhone xr but its named "iPhone 6s" which is what I had previously.

Go to settings, general, about, name and enter the name you want.

Its names iPhone xr there. but when i click on settings - apple id (at the top), i can see my apple devices and its named "iPhone 6s" :(
