problems with sending SMS

During the past 6 months or so, I have experienced problems with sending text messages. It is mainly with one contact - same number. For weeks, there can be no problems - I can send 10 messages in a day, and then suddenly, the message will not be send?

So I switch off the phone, re-start and same problem. ONLY with this one number.

sending text to other contacts is no problem.

We are talking text messages - not imessages.

No software updates pending.

Any suggestions on how to solve?
