I have the latest version of the iPad Pro. I have a Garmin Edge 810. I cannot get them to pair via Bluetooth. They don’t even display as being available. I installed the iOS Garmin Connect app on the iPad. Can’t use it without pairing with Garmin device. Turning on/off doesn’t do a thing. Both have the latest software. Garmin pairs with other non-apple computers and cell phones.
Advice please!

Pairing the Garmin Edge does need to be done through Bluetooth with the iPad. Contacted Garmin and was informed that only one device can be connected through Bluetooth on my 810. Even though my phone was disconnected from the Bluetooth of the Edge, I had to go through the process of “forgetting” the phone. Once that was done, I was able to pair the Edge to the iPad with Bluetooth enabled. The Garmin rep relayed that this minimal device pairing has to do with receiving notifications. Extra steps to pair, but at least now I can. Hopes this can serve as assistance to anyone else with similar issues.

I know nothing about the Garmin, but if you downloaded their app, the connection would be through their app, not through Bluetooth settings on your iPad Pro. Check with Garmin on how the Edge should connect to an iOS based device.
