I'm not getting the verification code via email to get into the new-refurbished iphone 6s i just received.
I cannot get a CALL from Apple Support - bec I cannot get into my phone yet.
What can i do to get the verification code?

Why do you need a verification code to set up a phone? Verification codes are for accessing your Apple ID, not for setting up an iPhone. When you turn on the phone it should immediately to to a setup process that should end with the phone being activated as a phone. No code should be required. Where did you get this refurbished phone from?
That's exactly what I'm trying to do and the verification code is not coming thru.
