Apple Music not working

Have family plan on Apple Music but one phone the Apple Music doesn’t work. Has banner at bottom that says “ not playing.” Have tried numerous things on forums about this problem but unable to fix

iPhone 7, iOS 12

‘Not Playing’ means that there currently is no track set to play. Tap one of the tracks above that, and they should appear in that banner and replace ‘Not Playing’.

Make sure to have a good connection (Wi-Fi or cellular), to stream directly from Apple’s servers.


If the track names are grayed out, then the source may no longer be available, and will not play for that reason.
