Two-factor authorization.

Want to add my iCloud email account to MS Outlook 2016 running on a MacBook-Pro. Requires that I turn off two-factor authorization to add but Apple has eliminated that ability in Mac OS 10.14.

Are there alternatives?

The windows 10 email application is just spinning its wheels. We are not presently using 2 factor authorization so there is no way to generate an app specific password it seems. The MS website is pathetic in explaining getting iCloud email to work. The Windows 10 email app does not even allow one to see the server settings - they may be wrong. Question: Does anyone know if the windows 10 email app requires two factor authorization or is it only an app specific password that is needed? That might answer my own question but can someone please explain. A google search shows many do not have a good understanding of what is going on. Thank you.

2-factor authentication for emails via Outlook If i sign up for Apple's 2 factor authentication, will I have to enter a different code every time I want to access my icloud emails via Outlook. If so, I will continue using icloud emails via webmail.

how to turn off the two-factor authentication? how to turn off the two-factor authentication? Trying to get my icloud email on the hotmail icon in task bar, and it keeps giving me a crazy error code, or tells me its out of date, it will not allow me to use that email. The information I have was to turn off the two factor Auth .
