When I play back a Voice Memo, it blares it out of my the loud lower speaker on my phone, instead of playing in my ear like a phone call.
I don't really want the whole room listening to the playback of my Voice Memos. How can I get them to play back into the phone's ear piece instead of on Speaker phone?

Thanks. Disappointing, but now it makes sense to me that it treats the clips just like music or video files.
On a related note, which microphone does it use to record the memos? The same mic that the video camera uses?
A Voice Memo will play like Music on the iPhone through the speaker. You would need to connect headphones to the phone to be able to listed privately.
It uses a combination of all those available to the phone.
