I just bought a 2019 Honda CRV with Apple Play to use the maps and can’t use the screen on the car to enter the info or move around. I have a iPhone XR and the dealership service person tried his iPhone 8 and it worked. Is there a setting that I need to change on my iPhone?

But the screen will not function with my iPhone XR it comes up but can not move around on the car screen. Could it have something to do with the facial recognition because the service rep. had a iPhone 8 Plus and hooked it up and everything worked like it should but we hooked my iPhone XR up and Still could not put the information in or use the back button on the car. I need to know if there is a setting that needs to be changed.
