Apple TV 4K Lagging When Using Apple TV Remote. Works Fine with Remote App on iPhone.

I have three Apple TV 4K's. All three were working perfectly. A few weeks ago, one of them starting having significant lag/inconsistent behavior when using my Apple TV remote to navigate the apps. I paired another Apple TV remote with it and the issue is the same. It works perfectly when I use the Remote app on my phone.

The Apple TV 4K is running on version 12.3. Everything is updated and reset. The remote is fully charged. I'm using a HDR compatible high speed HDMI cable. Was working fine for months until a month or so ago.

Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

I eventually figured out that the Apple TV had been moved and was touching the surge protector for my AV setup. I moved it a few inches away and it is now working much better. Assume this was causing interference with the Apple TV remote (Bluetooth) but not the Remote app on my phone (WiFi).

Hello,

Try unplugging the Apple TV from electric for about a half an hour and then plug it back in.
