iPad 2 Activation Lock

Hi! My mommy haven’t used her iPad 2 for more or so 5 years. Now, she gave it to me, but I’ve found out that it has been disabled and it needs her Apple ID. When I asked her, she couldn’t remember her Apple ID and password anymore. What must I have to do to use this iPad 2, again? I needed it for college :( Send help, please.

Your mommy will have to find out what her ID and password are - only these can unlock the iPad. These pages may help:

If she can't get that to work there is only one other option: provided that she bought it new in the first place, she (not you) need to take it, the original purchase documents, and some ID to an actual Apple Store Imake an appointment) and ask if they can unlock it.
