Network compatibility for unlocked phone purchased and used at TMobile

I unlocked phone but Verizon says it does not work on their network , the model number of this specific IPhone 7 Plus. Will it work on other networks. I feel like buying the iPhone at T mobile was a mistake and they never told me about limitation. Anything I can do? Any other network? T mobile was not good coverage.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12

To add a bit to Michael Black's comments, you basically can only use this phone on either a T-Mobile or AT&T cellular network as it will not support the older 3G CDMA network provided by US Cellular, Verizon, or Sprint. Even so, if you wanted to switch to AT&T, and you still have an active contract with T-Mobile, you will have to work with T-Mobile to unlock your phone in order to access AT&T's service.

A Mobile Virtual Network Provider (MVNO) is a cellular service provider company which does not own any physical network itself. A MVNO leases access to a network from a carrier with a physical network. In the USA the only companies who own nation-wide physical cellular networks are Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Cricket is an MVNO that is a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T and Cricket customers are connecting to AT&T’s physical network.
