starz app on the Apple TV
I am trying to watch starz through my apple tv. I have a subrcribtion through my cable tv provider. The apple says I DO NOT have an Starz with my my TV provider but I DO.

The Starz Channel in the Apple TV app requires a subscription from within the Apple TV app.
The Starz app (which may be linked to/through the Apple TV app), can work with any supported subscription (pre-existing bundled, or in-app).
Check if your TV provider is listed as supporting Single Sign-on, then it should recognize accounts in such apps automatically, after setup.
