You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.
Then delete the email.
The link below has information to help identify fraudulent emails.

There isn't a threat to you by just opening the img except you validated your email to the spammers, so get ready for the wave of spam.
Do what stedman1 suggests, and if it downloaded the attached img file, delete that, too.
