My iPhone will not let me download any apps because it says I need to there’s a problem with my billing information but I’ve changed out and it still ain’t working

How do I fix my iPhone from iPad to download apps and saying that I need a valid billing thing but I have a valid billing thing

iPhone 5s, iOS 12

You've gone to the payment details screen on the relevant account and corrected/changed your details ? Since doing that have you tried logging out etc. on both ?
