JPEG green in Preview.app on OS X 10.13.6

on my MacBook Pro photos open in preview app are either completely or partially covered by opaque solid green color. thanks for help on this.

In Photos app RAW files turn grey after editing The RAW files imported to the Photos app on my 2019 MacBook Air completely grey out after editing, in most instances. They reappear if I 'revert to original'. I have read that Photos is designed to support RAW files so I'm hoping someone can help me solve the issue please. the photos app's display problem of macOS Big Sur When I open the Photos app on my Mac, there will appear a black area behind the Photos window. The desktop background also doesn’t display properly, it is covered by large black areas, as shown in illustration. I don’t know what caused it. Only when the Photos app is closed will the desktop background return to normal display. I’m really looking forward to developers solving this problem. Thank you very much!! Thumbnails on Photos app on MacBook Pro became squares. All of a sudden all of my thumbnails have become squares, instead of their original or edited shapes. This cuts off the edges of the image content. I hate it! How do I fix this? [Edited by Moderator]

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
