Hi I wanted to know if you have to have a data plan with a iPad if it has cellular capabilities? Or can I just not use the cellular if I choose to not have it on a plan? Can I still use the iPad without using the cellular function?
If you have or purchase an iPad that is Wifi + Cellular, you can use the device without ever paying for a data plan. You'd just be limited to accessing networks via Wifi, just like a Wifi only iPad.
