Unable to update apps

When I try to update my apps it keeps taking me to the billing address screen. I am signed in and the address is correct by they will not update. Already tried a couple tricks I saw on the internet with no luck

iPhone XR, iOS 12

You logged out and closed the App Store app via the phone's taskbar and then rebooted the phone ? You could contact iTunes Support and see if they can do anything from their end : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
