iPod says “activation locked”

Ok, I bought and iPod touch from someone I didn’t even know, and they obviously still had that in their iPod on fine my iPhone app and when I went to erase everything and start it like new it said “activation locked” when it was turned on! What can I do if I can’t find the person??

Nothing. It's an anti-theft measure.

If you bought it through a place such as eBay, ask the people running the site or store for a refund.
